SCRUBBY BEAR SETS A RECORD EDUCATING LOCAL KIDS October-6-2009
As fears about the H1N1 virus continue to grow in Tri-State, the American Red Cross is doing its part to help educate the public about how to prepare and lessen the chances of contracting the H1N1 virus. Since September 1st, Scrubby Bear has helped educate 871 kids through 28 presentations. You can invite Scrubby to your school, daycare or pre-school by finding your local chapter in the menu bar above.

Project RED (Ready for Everyday Disasters) aims to engage the community into disaster response capabilities of the American Red Cross in an effort to better prepare everyone to survive an impending disasters that may occur in the tri-state. Together, we can improve our communities making the Tri-State a better place to live. Involvement is simple: join our team and become trained as a disaster volunteer, pledge to prepare your family to be RED CROSS Ready for disaster or take a CPR/First Aid course to help ensure you can save a life.
